So.. I haven't done as much practicing this week as I would like but I certainly am hoping to pick it back up again soon...it's amazing how much life tends to take away all of our free time... so anyways hopefully things will change soon and allow me the time I would like to get in for practicing so that I can be more than ready for the audition in november..... it looks to me like I need to be sure and know all of my major and the 3 forms of minors as well... which isn't so bad but it is still something that I need to review... and then will do the David Concertino and I haven't decided if I will do the Bolero solo or a Rochut book 2 etude for the other part yet... but luckily the euphonium part sounds like it will be much easier than i expected

Hey everybody I am going  to start a practice blog now I figure it would be just as easy as keeping a practice journal and this way it is out there for everyone to watch and it will help keep me honest about my expectations of how I should be doing... So yesterday I decided to try and pick up bass trombone, thought about using my old shilke 59 but instead went with the 1 1/2 G and it definitely has paid off for getting a better sound... now I just need to get practice time in everyday on that and on my large bore horn... maybe more limited time on my 2B and on euph just to keep those regulated without sacrificing too much for the ones I play more regularly this is all for today hopefully I will keep this up and will continue updating on what I am doing.
